Where does my donation go after the Business Attire Drive?

For Building Impact’s April Business Attire Drive, the answer is the Morgan Memorial Goodwill job training program. On April 16th the drive will end and the familiar BI donation boxes in your building lobbies and offices will be emptied by our staff members and taken directly to the Goodwill headquarters in Boston.

But unlike most Goodwill donations, the business attire we are collecting is not going to Goodwill’s stores across the area, they are going directly to Goodwill’s Clothing Collaborative for job trainees. The Clothing Collaborative specifically provides business and interview-appropriate clothing for graduates of Goodwill’s job training program and 15 other local job training programs.
