On Saturday, June 5th, Dave Kincman from the Lowell Wish Project pulled his truck up to the River Place Towers apartment building, where residents were ready and waiting with items to donate. The Wish Project had brought the Give Big program to River Place Towers last year, and the program was so successful that we decided to make it an annual event.
Since residents were familiar with the Lowell Wish Project's programs and all of the different items they accept, this year they practically filled the truck with everything from bed frames and cribs to a 46 inch TV! All of these donated items will be distributed to needy families throughout the Greater Lowell area. Dave commented, “The collection at River Place went great and it seemed people were preparing for us to come back in the fall already."
All in all River Place Towers residents donated a total of 265 items, worth over $3,400!
