Kudos to Polartec for donating over 40 YARDS of fleece that was used to make blankets to keep infants warm this winter. We also have to give props to Pivot, Inc, a company based out of 215 First in Cambridge for rallying their troops and helping to make 15 blankets to donate to the Lowell Wish Project. 14 Pivot employees banded together on their lunch break (even giving up foosball and other fun office activities) to make the super-comfy blue Polartec fleece into baby blankets. These blankets will go to babies in need served by our non-profit partner Lowell Wish Project which we know needs them now more than ever. The group had a great time making these blankets as well - sharing tips for how to cut the fleece straight, or fighting over who tied the most attractive knot - and the impact was amazing. Here's a few pic from the event and the whole team with their blankets afterwards. Thanks again Polartec and Pivot for showing how much you care about the community!
