There are over 3,000 youth in Massachusetts on the waiting list for a mentor. Become a mentor and change the life of a child in your community. Kids in your area are in need of adults who can play, read, talk, listen, and just be there. You don't need any special skills, just a sincere interest in the success of youth and a caring attitude. Volunteer: Tutor 9th-12th grade students The Boston Scholar Athlete Program needs tutors to help with general 9th-12th grade curriculum. You don't need to be subject matter experts in any one subject in particular, and you only have to commit a minimum of an hour a week. Contact your Community Connector to learn more.
