The Community Connector is a Building Impact staff member who designs, delivers and measures Building Impact Connect Program activities. Connect Program activities are available to tenants working or living within our portfolio of buildings or whose companies have sponsored our Call to Action Fundraiser. Each Community Connector serves as a resource and point of contact for the community involvement interests of tenants and real estate partners.
How do people and companies sign-up for activities?
The companies and individuals that work or live in Building Impact buildings or who are Call to Action sponsors can sign up for activities and events by registering on the Building Impact website: www.buildingimpact.org/upcoming-events.
Where do donations go?
100% of all volunteer time, donated goods, and in-kind resources generated is channeled directly to our Nonprofit Partner Network, comprised of 40+ local organizations, including the Greater Boston Food Bank, Mass Mentoring, Cradles to Crayons, More Than Words, Gaining Ground, Massachusetts General Hospital, Generations Inc., The Wish Project, Morgan Memorial Goodwill, AIDS Action, Project Bread, The New England Center for Homeless Veterans, Mass Housing Coalition, among others. What is a ‘Building Impact Ambassador’ and how much time does it require?
Building Impact Ambassadors are our liaisons within the companies and residential communities working and living in our buildings. Building Impact Ambassadors champion our events and encourage their coworkers & neighbors to participate. We ask that the ‘Ambassadors’ take a few minutes each month to forward our email about volunteer events, donation drives and social networking opportunities to their colleagues and neighbors.
