Five companies participating in Building Impact's year long volunteer
program, REAction2010, joined forces to clean, organize and prepare the
Windsor Street Clubhouse in Cambridge for the start of summer camp.
Seventeen volunteers from AM-PM Cleaning, VHB Engineering, Entegra Real
Estate, Paradigm Properties, and Suffolk Construction worked for 3 hours
cleaning floors, tables, and computers, organizing the main office, the
games closet, and book shelves and painting a welcome banner for the
kids that will be arriving next week.
Everyone had a great time and Caroline, the Program Director at the Club, was overjoyed with all of the work that got done. After seeing the shining white floors that staff from AM-PM had washed, buffed and waxed, she said, "I never knew the floor was supposed to be white! I've only seen it brown with dirt."
