BI Serves Up Smiles at the Framingham Miracle Kitchen

On July 22nd, Building Impact volunteers came to the Framingham Miracle Kitchen for the first time, not quite knowing what to expect. Jimmy, the kitchen manager, had the group roll up their sleeves and jump right into getting dinner on the table and preparing the dining room. When the guests showed up our volunteers were ready with a smile, which is sometimes just as important as a meal to someone in need. A few members of the group were inspired by Jimmy's efforts to make square meals on a lean budget, and after leaving the kitchen clean, they went to work the next day and started hot dog drives for the Kitchen!
