On Thursday, July 1st, 14 volunteers from AM/PM Cleaning and SG&A teamed up to transform an outdoor space behind the club from an unusable overgrown eyesore, into a clean open space that looks great for the club and has potential to add programming capacity. Before the volunteers arrived, the space was covered in weeds, broken glass, rocks, and other odds and ends that made the area dangerous and hard to patrol. Before and after:
After 2 long hours of weeding, cutting, raking, and removing debris, the space was clearly improved, much to the delight of the Boys and Girls Club and their neighbors alike! Thank you to all of our volunteers for helping beautify the club and making the space safe for neighborhood children.
