Donation Drive

Due to last year’s success and to the continued overwhelming need in our community, Building Impact is again partnering with the Greater Boston Food Bank to hold a food drive this February to benefit the 900 local shelters and pantries throughout Eastern MA served by the Food Bank.

Help send a child to school feeling confident and prepared! Donate school suppliesin the box in your lobby or organize your coworkers to do a drive in your office! Click here for a suggested list of items to donate. Your donation will go to a child in eastern Massachusetts, through one of these organizations:

More Than Words, a Waltham non-profit bookstore & community space developing young leaders through real-world business experience, is launching a second site in Boston in Spring 2011. Support their expansion to Boston by donating gently used books, children’s books, CDs, DVDs, and/or video games.

Do you have unused computers laying around your office? Donate them to the World Computer Exchange and give someone in a developing country the opportunity to receive a 21st century education. Building Impact will pick up the computers and other equipment from your office.

Bring some holiday fun to a child by donating a toy or gift card. All toys donated will go to children served by East End House, the Lowell Wish Project, and Project Just Because.

Order your gourmet holiday pie for only $25! Proceeds from one pie feed a Community Servings home-bound client for a week.  To read a few stories about the clients your pie will feed, click here. Pies will be delivered to your office the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Winter is fast approaching and soon it will be time to bundle up! Donate new or gently used winter coats to keep someone warm during the cold months. Children's coats will be contributed to the Anton's Cleaners Coats for Kids drive.

Prepare a child for school by sponsoring a backpack filled with supplies during the Ready for School Drive. The Lowell Wish Project is hoping to provide 2,000 children in the Greater Lowell area with a brand new backpack on the first day of school. You can sponsor a backpack for $20, a classroom for $400, or anywhere in between! Supplies are also accepted in the donation box in your lobby.
