Make the Assabet River sparkle as teams work from Concord to Framingham cleaning trash from the banks. Join this regional tradition with the Organization for the Assabet River and celebrate with lunch afterward. This event is kid-friendly! All ages welcome.

Farm for Those in Need

Tend the fields and start bringing in the harvest at Gaining Ground! This community farm distributes fresh produce to emergency food programs and pantries across the state. This event is kid-friendly--kids age 8 and up are welcome. Directions.

Volunteer: Create Braille Books

Teach your child the value in helping others by collating braille children's books at National Braille Press. This non-profit helps the blind and vision impaired children experience the joy of reading. Kid-friendly event, ages 12+. 

There will be a break during the event in which volunteers can get dinner.

Hike for Humanity at Blue Hills Reservation

Volunteer or hike to support Habitat for Humanity just like you would for any other charity walk! Get outdoors,  be active with family and friends, and enjoy beautiful Blue Hills Reservation on June 5th. Registration begins at 9am and ends at 2pm, but you can continue to hike until the park closes at dusk.
